About Blackburn Village Optical

At Blackburn Village Optical, we offer a professional and personal approach to vision care. As an independent optometric practice, we focus on catering to the needs of all age groups and individuals.

Optometrist Heather Law has extensive experience managing the visual welfare of patients of all ages, meaning we can care for the whole family. Whether treating a child needing their first pair of glasses, a teenager wanting to try out contact lenses, or a patient needing help with a condition like cataracts or glaucoma, Heather brings expert advice and a thorough and caring approach.

We are committed to providing a broad range of products. Heather’s knowledge of lens technology means you can select from the latest in thin and lightweight spectacle lenses, an extensive range of contact lenses and quality fashion frames.

Heather will thoroughly assess and consider your optical needs in the context of your work environment and lifestyle.

Our history

Patient care is the priority

Blackburn Village Optical was established in 1997 and has provided eye care to Blackburn and the surrounding districts.

Since first opening one of our priorities has been to work closely with community bodies like local GPs, health centres, schools and the local Chamber of Commerce.

With several families we are now seeing our third generation of patients.
